In conjunction with Vornado Realty Trust, The Durst Organization enlisted GO’s help with one of their most important and prestigious projects – the bid to the MTA to develop the Hudson Yards, the area of Manhattan bounded by West 42nd and 43rd Streets, 7th and 8th Avenues, West 28th and 30th Streets, and Hudson River Park. The Durst/Vornado proposal responded not only to the requirements of the MTA but also had to anticipate the needs of the City – creating a world-class, sustainable urban environment that would give New Yorkers a vibrant new destination for living, working and recreation.
Durst was so impressed with GO’s design skills, dedication to the project and sense of camaraderie that they continued the relationship beyond the initial RFP. Durst engaged GO to design the graphics for their in-person pitch to the MTA. In addition, GO produced a video that played at the highly publicized MTA Media Event where the press and public were able to view all five proposals. GO also created a website specifically designed for the project.
